The Inox range of Thermostatic shower valves all have an anti-scald cut off feature.

Which means if the cold water supply is shut off for any reason,

then the shower valve will also automatically shut off the hot water feed as well.

So thus preventing scalding, There is also an additional safety feature on theses valves.

Which cuts off the hot water if it gets above 68 degrees in temperature, which is another useful feature.
