This is the guts of the shower valve that controls the temperature​ and flow of water.

You do not see this part and it goes in the wall and is normally in UK stock.

This is what you plumber will need quickly and the cover plate (bath/shower mixer/ Thermostatic shower valve you choose which design),

gets fitted on later near the end of the bathroom being installed completely.
